Mentoring Partner Regions

The mentoring process is an essential aspect of building European Regions of Knowledge networks. In the IN2WOOD project, we are interested to deepen our relations and establish new contacts with the forest-based sector in South Eastern Europe. 

Mentoring partner workshops

A first mentoring workshop was held at the International Wood Fair in Klagenfurt, Austria (August 2010). Representatives of Wood & Forest-based clusters in Romania, Poland, Serbia, Czech Republic, Croatia and Slovenia met the IN2WOOD partners to exchange ideas and share knowledge.

At the world fair of Wood and Forest Industry - LIGNA, 2011 - representatives of the wood and forest sector from 16 european countries got together to discuss strategic issues und specify their joint interests during the Cooperation workshop.

The workshop in Klagenfurt can be seen as the starting point for several joint activities between IN2WOOD project and mentoring partners. Since the beginning of the IN2WOOD project in January 2010 mentoring partners from 12 countries in South East Europe joined the IN2WOOD project.
